Brief Answer:
Explained below

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for posting your query,

Before I would guide you any further, I would like to make sure if you had consulted with a doctor in your area to confirm the diagnosis. If not kindly upload a photograph of the affected area so that I may be able to guide you properly.

You can upload the picture using the upload link or you can also send the picture to YYYY@YYYY with attention to Dr. Remy.

Meanwhile, I would guide you through ringworm infection:

- this is a type of fungal infection which is spread through contact with infected animals or humans. The fungal spores survive in soil, from where is gets transmitted to humans or animals.

- For this you need to get consultation with a dermatologist in your area and then to be started on topical and oral antifungals.

- you may be started on clotrimazole or ketoconazole ointments and if needed will be asked to start on oral antifungals.

- This infection usually subsides by a period of 2-4 weeks.

- Proper hygiene and cleanliness is mandatory to prevent the spread of infection.

Hope this helps

Regards
