Suggest Treatment For Right Upper Abdominal Pain

Question: I am a 56 yr old female with rather sudden unset of right upper abdominal pain x4 days. No fever/chills/deformities, but tender to the touch to the point of vomiting. Light red colored vomited x2. I am overweight, have this 2 diabetes and have had uterin cancer 10 yrs ago. My question is do you think I should be seen sooner than Tue of this week? I have to work and with it being the holiday and all, I don't want to waste er time that others might need more. What do you think?

I read your question and i understand your concern. Pain in right upper quadrant with slightly reddish vomit, tender to touch in the area is likely a gastric discomfort like gastritis or gall bladder issue like cholecystitis. If the pain is severe and you are unable to take even fluids then yes you should be seen earlier than tuesday otherwise it can wait till tuesday, take some pepto, some antacids, drink fluids a lot, and wait and see.
