Question: I have a spot on my lower left leg that was black about a week ago and I thought maybe a mole or age spot- now a week later it is a light brown. The area around it is hard and warm. The whole thing is red (about the size of an apple around it). I am now expirencing pain like what a bad leg cramp would be

I have gone through the description and have checked the attached image. It seems that you have somehow developed an abscess. In other words, it is a localized infection. The resultant inflammation is causing it to be hard, red and warm. You sould urgently seek surgical assistance and get the abscess drained. The infection needs to be contained and antibiotics should also be needed.
