Brief Answer:
Need some information and clear images if you do not mind sir

Detailed Answer:
Hello sir and welcome.

Thank you for writing to us.

I have gone through your query with diligence and would first like to start off by requesting you to kindly attach clear images of the affected region to our conversation for my examination. You can do so by either attaching the images to our discussion here, or emailing them to me at

YYYY@YYYY

Please remember to mention 'ATTN: Dr Shoaib Khan' in the subject line

Next, I would like you to please take some time out to respond to my queries so I can better understand your condition:

+Are you sexually active? If yes, do you have one or multiple partners?
+If you are sexually active, is your partner a known person?
+Have you even been to a sex worker?
+Do you masturbate?
+After sexual contact or masturbation, do you wash and clean your genitalia immediately? If not, when do you do so?
+Is it hot and humid where you are from?
+How would you rate your personal hygiene on a scale from 0 to 5; 0 being poor and 5 being paranoid?
+Is your groin/genital region moist or wet most of the time?

I look forward to hearing from you in order to help you further.

Best wishes.

Brief Answer:
Male penile candidiasis

Detailed Answer:
Hello sir and thank you for the information and images.

It does not seem like this could be anything sexually transmitted and is more likely to be a fungal/yeast infection that gets worse when the region is either agitated or left moist. Following is my advise sir:

+Tablet fluconazole 150 mg one tablet only, to be taken once
+Clotrimazole or nystatin Topical cream to be applied over the region for the next 3 months, twice a day
+Do not leave the region moist or wet at any time: Please change your inner wear as soon as you sweat or it becomes wet, carry an extra pair with you at all times
+Do not masturbate for the next 2 weeks at least and no sexual contact either
+Take a shower at least once a day

I hope you find my response helpful. Please feel free to write back to me for any further clarifications, I am always here to help.

Best wishes.
