Question: Hi I am 38 year old male. I just recently had these small tiny red bumps under the skin on my hands and feet that feel like pins and needles when pressed on. They are also itchy and raise up more if scratched. These tiny little clear bumps are slightly raised. I popped a tiny one that had clear liquid when squuezed but was not a big fluid filled blister, these are tiny bumps(hardly noticable). These are on my palms of my hands, between my fingers and on the tops/sides and the soles of my feet. They are on the backs of my thighs and buttocks too and itchy! They are irritated by hot water and friction. I do get fever blisters/herpes sores on lips when stressed or sick. What is this condition and cure?

Brief Answer:
Molluscum contagiosum

Detailed Answer:
Hi Sir ,
I have carefully read your query and understand your concern.

These bumps are likely to be of Molluscum Contagiosum.

Most of these lesions heal by spontaneous way in 3-6 weeks.

It can occur similar to fever blisters and contact with swimming pools etc.

They can be tender and itchy.

Avoid scenarios that can exacerbate these lesions.

Topical 5% imiquimod can be very useful.

Oral formulations in the form of cidofovir can be used.

Note ;these drugs should be taken only under strict medical supervision.

I hope this info is helpful to you,
Thank you
