Brief Answer:
It is hard to treat

Detailed Answer:
Hi

Thanks for your query.

Folliculitis is hard to treat and so is dandruff. It all usually returns when the medicines are discontinued.

I would suggest that you go for mild shampoos or even natural/ herbal shampoos. After applying shampoo, rub the scalp gently to remove the dead skin. Again apply shampoo and wash it off. After this try to apply some antibiotic oil or lotion onto the scalp. Antibiotics that are good for scalp are clindamycin, salicylic acid, etc. If there is some fluid oozing from the rash, put some hydrogen peroxide on it and wash it off.

Do not wash hair every day. Rather twice a week would be fine. Your scalp will get used to it accordingly.

Hope it helps.
