Brief Answer:
Sore throat.

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for asking on Healthcaremagic.

I have gone through your query and understand your concerns. Some children are more prone to catching cold and in such cases it is not unlikely for the infections to recur. A throat infection can be due to bacterial or viral cause. Antibiotics are not effective in viral infections. Even in case of bacterial infections irrespective of use of antibiotics it usually takes 5-7 days to resolve. Use of antibiotics can lead to antibiotic associated diarrhea. Gurgling with lukewarm water is the best treatment. If your child cannot do that just go for saline rinse or chlorhexidine mouth wash.

Use of monteleukast + levocetirizine may be advisable. Please discuss with your treating physician.
