Question: Hi
i keep coming out in spots they start as blisters im on a lot of medication but dont think that its this coursing it tgey are very very itchy and bled badly
Im on the following medication
Pregabalin 20mg/ml 12.5ml to be taken twice daily
Fostair inhaler two puffs morning and night and can take up to three extra a day if chest is bad
Ranitidine 150mg 10 mls to be taken daily
Fluoextine 10mg/5ml 10 ml to be taken at night only
Paracetamol 500mg two tablets four times a day
Diflam mouth rinse when needed
Dihydrocodiene 15-30 mls twice daily when needed

It's looking like chicken pox or folliculitis.
I would like to know additional details to reach a diagnosis.
1. Since when you have this problem of blisters appearing ?
2. Is there any other symptoms like itch pain etc ?
3. This is the first time you have got this or you keep getting such lesions .

Blistering started about 5-7 weeks ago thry are itchy and pretty painful
First time theyve been thia bad

Thanks for the follow up.
It is folliculitis, a bacterial infection.
I treat such cases with a combination of oral and topical antibiotics.
A combination of doxycycline and mupirocine cream works well.
