Question: Hi! My fiancé is currently on lithium and lamictical for his aggressiveness, split personality and bipolar and trauma and severe C-PTSD and I have many health issues and almost died in a massive car accident and I'm on Topamax 150mg morning have Gurd and acid reflux taking 40mg twice daily for Omeprazol, b6, 0.25 Klonipin in morning from severe trauma and C-PTSD. Then 5mg/325mg of percacet for pain then at night 1mg and .50 of Klonipin and 40 mg of omeprozol. I have what's called ice prick headached on top of migraines and everyday so I also take migranal when needed as well as rizatriptan, naratriptan and cyst on top of my ovaries all the time can't take birth control. Breast cancer runs very high in my family and with my migrianes I see color which increases risk for stroke. I see the best Neuro, GI, Primary and can't find OBGYN to help. I was told with all the cyst exploding and they are always about 4.5 on either ovary or bigger they leave blood in my stomach. Recently had appendectomy wasn't suppose but because of cyst exploding it made it look like it and GI surgeon said in started developing endometriosis. I was just in the ER and they want to get rid of one ovary. Have a couple question maybe you can't answer since I don't and my gyno won't help me.

Would this decrease my headache since possible less hormone through my body?

Also, the meds me and XXXXXXX are on are will they affect us trying to conceive. We can't get off the meds for many many reasons but I want a child of my own. Do we both have get off everything and stay off everything for awhile to have a babe. He can't he gets aggressive my migraines and it makes me suicidal if I do... I really want a child so I don't know what to do and please don't tell me go speak to a gyno I have muti ole they dismiss me because I'm such a hard case....

Brief Answer:
Have tried to explain as much as I could.

Detailed Answer:
Hello
Thanks for writing to us with your health concern.
I totally understand the difficult situation that you are in.
Let me try and clear the picture as much as I can.
1. You need to remove the ovarian cyst / mass, as it sounds like recurrent endometriosis that is not responding to treatment. Please upload the ultrasound scan showing the cyst so that I can have a better idea what it is.
2. Yes, as long as you are both on those medications, you cannot try and conceive, as the medications will harm your unborn child. You have to stop the medications and then try after 3 months of being off the medications.
3. The cyst removal might not help your headaches much, as the hormones would not be much affected.
4. I know you do not like my saying it, but yes you need to see an OB - GYN.
THe best bet for you is to stop medications / take alternatives after consulting your doctor for a short while, and try fertility enhancing drugs so that you conceive at the earliest. Even then, at least you will have to stop the drugs atleast as long as you are pregnant.
All the best
Please feel free to discuss further.
