Brief Answer:
Enough fluids, BRAT diet

Detailed Answer:
Hi there,
Thanks for posting in HCM.
I am Dr.Barani and I am pleased to assist you.

You need to go to the hospital again unless you are severely dehydrated.
A moist tongue and a good urine output are indicators of good hydration.
Drink enough fluids and oral rehydration solution to remain well hydrated.

If the urine output is less in spite of drinking enough fluids, if there is vomiting or if you feel drowsy, go to the hospital again.

Take BRAT diet - Banana, Rice, Apple sauce and Toast.
Include yogurt.

If the stool contains blood and mucus, you may have to take a course of antibiotics.

I hope that answers your query.
Let me know if you have any more questions.
Regards,
Dr.Barani

Hi,

Sorry for the confusion.

I don't know how the word "NOT" went missing.
I meant you need not go to the hospital unless you are dehydrated.
