Suggest Treatment For Rectal Cancer

Question: mum has what I think is stage 3a rectal cancer. whilst she is waiting for treatment I am scared of it spreading. the cancer is in rectum and possibly 2 lymph nodes. I am really scares and worried that my mum can't be cured. no one has told me that I am just scared. mum is having chemo and radium then an operation in a couple of months. Can my mum be sorted out please?

mum is overweight can a permanent stoma be done she weighs 16 stone 7 pounds and is try to lose weight xIs it normal to bleed when you go for bowel movement I am worried sick. It is in toilet as well as paper on and off. Please help asap. Thanks

last question please is it normal to bleed when you for bowel movement sometimes much heavier than others. sometimes blood just on toilet tissue but then quite a bit in the pan other times thanks x
