Question: when I force a bowel movement I sometimes have rectal bleeding

I will analyze all your points, please note..

1. Yes.. This is expected..
It happens even to younger people, and at the age we can expect this..

2. Do not worry, it's absolutely normal..

3. But, please make sure that you bleed only when you strain to pass stools..
At age more than 60,there is a risk of colonic or Rectal cancer.

4. Suggest you to go visit a surgeon and get yourself examined.
If it's hemorrhoids or fissure then do not worry.
