Suggest Treatment For Rectal Bleeding With History Of Meth Addiction

Question: Hi, I'm a 31yr old female, 52kgs, 170cm height....battling with a meth addiction and lately when I smoke meth i am passing blood from my rectum and seeing blood in my stools. I have to go to the toilet a lot more often than usual and each time the blood seems to get thicker and darker, sometimes with chunks of blood, kind of like I have my period but the blood is coming from my rectum. I have been to see a doctor on two occasions in the past 5 years because I noticed I was passing blood, but this was before I started using meth (wasn't taking any other drugs either) and was told it it normal and was sent away without any tests. These two instances were a bit different however as the blood was very watery, bright red and only about 2tbs worth. This time it's thicker and my stools are dark and tarry, varying between fully formed and getting close to diarreah.
Almost certain it is directly related to smoking meth...what might this mean?

Brief Answer:
Lower GIT lesion suspected.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for posting your query on HealthcareMagic.

Smoking meth causes certain gastrointestinal side effects, however, passing blood from rectum is an unlikely side effect.
Passage of blood from rectum and black tarry stools has to be investigated without any delay.
A colonoscopy is required to look for the cause of bleeding in the lower gastrointestinal tract (GIT).
Bleeding usually occurs due to ulcers, angiodysplasia, diverticulitis or growth in the lower GIT.
Growth or cancer is unlikely at the age of 31, however, genetic predisposition can cause cancers at young age also,
Thus, it is urgent to rule out cancerous growth in the lower GIT.
Consult a gastroenterologist for clinical assessment and relevant investigations.
