Brief Answer:
Some more information needed.

Detailed Answer:
Hello!

Thank you for the query.

Where is he bleeding from? I assume that he is bleeding from rectum. Is it bright red blood or dark blood? Is is mixed with stool or on the surface of the stool? What kind of tests has he had?

In general bleeding form digestive tract should be diagnosed with colonoscopy (bright red blood), angio-CT (dark blood mixed with stool), gastroscopy (tare like stools).

I`m looking forward to hearing from you.
Regards.

I am 49 post-menopausal women - I had a pulmonary embolism 5 years ago - oc only risk identified - is it at all safe to take an estogen suppository - are there any natural alternatives - I have pelvic organ prolapse - bleeding likely due to pessary irritation - other causes ruled out - I have used lavender oil in the past - is that safe or beneficial? - any input would be appreciated

Last week I went to urgent care for constipation and pain in my abdomen. They did a pregnancy test which came back negative (my last period was on April 7th, two weeks before I went to the doctor.) and then a xray on my abdomen. I was somewhat backed up in my ascending colon and clear on the descending side (I did a suppository the day before). Also, after the suppository i had very oily, mucousy red come out. The doctor gave me miralax and a senna laxative to take which helped. Now it is time for my period but it it hasn t come and is a few days late. I took a couple pregnancy tests which came back negative, as they should because I haven t had intercourse. I am very bloated as well. What could be causing the missed period and bloating?

My son has a high fever (since last night) breaking 104 this morning. I have been able to keep it between 101-102 with Acetaminophen suppositories. He hasn t been able to keep much down. He also has red spots on his right shoulder, and a few strays (one on his arm, one on lower back). They resemble pimples. My initial thought was chicken pox, but the doctor could not confirm that. It has been over 24 hours, and the bumps are still there, he has not developed anymore, and they never blistered or got any whiteheads . I have no idea what it is, and I would love to know if my son is contageous.

I heard a pop with an unexpected horrible coughing spell. Only days post hyst/sacro/rectocele repair etc. No spotting or bleeding. Just worried. How would I know if something terrible happened. Could things still be swollen enough to feel like my prolapsed uterus is till between my legs? I feel stupid not knowing

I have had a couple of incidents where skin protrudes from my anus after having a bowel movement. I have spoken with my P.C.P. about it. She called it a reticulated rectum I believe. Is it something I should pursue with a specialist, or should I...
