Suggest Treatment For Rectal Bleeding And Stomach Discomfort
Question: I am wondering what could it possibly be caused by? I been nauseas almost everyday sometimes all day for several months now. my blood pressures been up , my reg. med dr sent me to the er a few days ago. but while getting ready I had rectal bleeding , at the er my stool was positive for blood in it. I have had occasional stomach discomfort which I used pepto bismal for. sometimes it offered some relief and other times no relief. since being seen at the er on the 13th. I feel so low in energy , I'm tired , my stomach feels blah.. sorta like when u feel bloated. the er wants me to be seen at a gastroenterologist , today I see my dr but no ones told me what my symptoms might be from. is cancer is the only problem that causes these symptoms? I just want to feel better

I would suggest colonoscopies and endoscopies to rule out inflammatory bowel diseases too. Cancer is long short and highly unlikely.
Yes visiting gastroenterologist is the right option here and should be high priority. Till then supportive care, diet lifestyle modifications, antispasmodics for relief, fibrous diet with plenty of fluids will help.
