Question: HI my son has broken out in a rash over his feet and arms, it looks like heat rash. He has had it for four days now. i can send a few pictures if that would help.

Hi and thank you so much for this query.

I am so sorry to hear about this rash and all the inconvenience this must have caused your son. I have reviewed the information and the attached images. This is suggestive of a possible allergic reaction. Treatment consisting in keeping the area clean and taking an anti-allergy and anti itch medication such as benadryl. Cleanse the area twice daily with betadine would keep if free from germs and infections. While betaderm is equally helpful, the extensive nature of the rash makes a systemic drug such as benadryl a better option.
