Brief Answer:
Candidal balanoposthitis most probably

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Welcome to HCM...

I read history and saw the photos. After that I could conclude that most probably you may be having candidal balanoposthitis and scrotal dermatitis.

I would suggest...

- blood investigations like RBS to rule out DM and HIV test
- antifungal like itraconazole 200 mg daily for two weeks
- antihistaminics
- short course of antibiotic
- apply clotrimazole cream on glans and prepuce
- apply mild steroid cream on scrotal skin lesions
- avoid soap bath
- take Sitz bath in water mixed with few drops of Dettol
- keep the area clean and shaved
- improve hygiene, improve immunity
- avoid sex till the lesions clear
- antifungal tablets may be given to your wife

Have treatment for few weeks under observation of dermatologist.

I hope this would help you.

Thanks.

Brief Answer:
Candidal balanoposthitis

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Welcome back to HCM..

- there is no urine test to rule out STD ..Hepes progenitalis, chancroid, gonorrhoea, syphilis,HIV..etc

- it is difficult to tell about the chances of any STD including herpes

- I don't know the content of lorinol. You consult nearby dermatologist to know about it.

- there is limitations with us to tell about brands of the drugs.

- dose of antifungal was suggested in previous post.

- azithromycin 500 mg may be taken for one to two weeks

- condom give partial protection for STD, remember ...there may be chances of tear. How one can remain protected from the lesions on vulva?

- you have most probably candidal balanoposthitis

- candid cream is widely used clotrimazole cream

I hope you got my answers.

Thanks.

Brief Answer:
Candidal balanoposthitis

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

You seem to have candidal balanoposthitis. It is a fungal infection. Fusiderm is antibiotic. So, you do not get result. As, previously I suggested.. You apply antifungal cream.

And Allegra is an antihistaminic. It reduces itch sensation. So, oral antifungal may be taken as suggested in previous post.

I hope now you must have understood your problem and it's remedy. You take treatment under observation of dermatologist.

Thanks.
