Question: I have a rash on my breast. It is very circular and a little over the size of a quarter but looks more like a burn. Was not burned there though.

Brief Answer:
I suggest a possibility of Fungal Infection/Tinea Corporis

Detailed Answer:
Hello. Thank you for writing to us at healthcaremagic

I have gone through your query and I have noted down your concern.

I will keep a possibility of Tinea Corporis/Superficial Fungal Infection. However I would have preferred an Image for confirmation.

Superficial fungal infections of skin present with annular or circular patches with raised peripheral margins that extend outwards with central clearing.
The patches are scaly, particularly at the margins. Itching is usually a symptom in fungal infections.

I would like to gather more information from you in order to be able to guide you further.

-Is it itchy? Is the surface scaly?
-Has it changed in size over time?Increasing or spreading?
-Can you upload an Image of it?

The ointment that you have tried does not contain a specific antifungal ingredient/agent.
I would rather suggest you to try an OTC topical antifungal e.g clotrimazole 1% cream, twice daily for 2-4 weeks.

Regards
