Question: Hi, I got a bite on my wrist on Wednesday Night. It itches and is red. I have been putting topical creams, cortizone, Neosporin, bug bite cream on it, but it doesn't seem to be getting any better.

Please, upload an image for review!

Detailed Answer:
Hi and thanks for this query.

I am so sorry to hear about this bite that you have reported. I have reviewed this information and the best way to help would be by inspecting an image of this lesion. I will suggest that you kindly upload an image for review. This way, I can provide a personalized and helpful response to you as opposed to a generic one that might not prove helpful. Nothing replaces seeing this bitten spot for inspection and assessment.

To upload an image, simply click on the link to upload a file and follow the instructions. If this proves difficult, please send the image by mail to YYYY@YYYY and request that the image should be uploaded to your query.

I do promise to get back to you with more insights and helpful recommendations as soon as the requested information gets here.

Brief Answer:
NO need to be worried!

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

This is normal inflammatory response following the bite. There are no signs of active infection. Cleansing the area daily and avoiding constant picking would be okay. There is no need for antibiotics at this time. For the pains and itches, I recommend tylenol and benadryl. Otherwise, all is okay.

Send another image in 48hours for review and more insights.

I wish you well.
