Brief Answer:
nigclothes and bed sheet can be an allergen.

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for your question on HCM.
Allergy can be due to anything like
1. Food
2. Clothes
3. Dust
4. Bed sheets
5. Animal fur
6. Pollens etc.
So in my opinion either your bedsheet or your wife's night wear may act as allergen and gives allergy.
So I advice you to change bed sheet and replace it with new washed bed sheet. Also chenge night wear and use cotton clothes.
Hope I have solved your query. I will be happy to help you further.
Wishing good health to your wife.
Thanks.
