Brief Answer:
Seems like a small area of mucosal erosion..

Detailed Answer:
Hi..
Welcome to HEALTHCARE MAGIC..

I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..

As per your complain and the image attached it looks like a small inflamed area over the tongue due to loss of mucosa or erosion of mucosa over the tongue..
It might have happened while eating some hard food or injury with teeth etc..
Nothing seems serious and you need not to worry about it..
As it is painful you can apply a numbing gel containing Lignocaine or analgesic ointment containing Choline Salicylate over the area..
Do warm saline gargles..
You can also take Ibuprofen if it pains continuously..
Avoid eating very hard food stuff till it heals..
Suck ice to reduce inflammation..

If you have any further questions you are most welcome..

Hope this information helps..

Thanks and regards.
