Suggest Treatment For Presence Of Pimples On The Penis

Question: Hello. I recently went to a dermatologist to get something checked out on my penis. From what I researched i figured it was probably follicultis. There were a few small pimples I was concerned about. However, he told me it was molluscum contagiosum and froze them off. I am thinking he was probably right because he is a dermatologist but I havent been sexually active and I know they can look very similar. Do you recommend I get a second opinion or is there a way to know for sure? Thanks.

Brief Answer:
Upload pictures or get clinical examination done

Detailed Answer:
Hi
Thanks for writing to us at healthcaremagic
Molluscum contagiosum in the genital area is usually a sexually transmitted viral disease.
To get it confirmed you need to upload the photographs of the spots under the report section of the site or you should consult a dermatologist and get a clinical examination done.
There are no particular laboratory tests to confirm as it is mainly diagnosed clinically.
