i was habituated of taking alcohol on regular interval up to four days a week and regular habbit of chewing tobacco. To quit those habit, i consulted one Rehabilitation center in XXXXXXX on 24.05.2015 and they suggested me for two medicine.

Brief Answer:
Get evaluated.

Detailed Answer:
Welcome To HCM. I am Dr Anshul Varshney. I understand your concern.
The most common causes of Erectile Dysfunction are Psychogenic and Diabetic neuropathy.
The other common cause is Atherosclerosis of the penile vessels.
The medicines you have taken for smoking cessation seems unrelated.
Now if you have never got your blood sugar checked you should get it done.
I need to know a few more things to help you better:
1. Do you have spontaneous morning erections?
2. Any history of Diabetes or Hypertension?
3. Are you able to perform intercourse?
4. Any family history of heart diseases or Hypertension?

Dear Sir,

Thanks for your reply.
I want to clear few more things. I have got checked my Sugar level ,Blood pressure & HIV test done few days before from a pathology and every thing is normal.
1. I haven't felt any spontaneous morning erections from past few months.
2. I haven't any diabetes or Hypertension history.
3. From past few months i am unable to perform the intercourse. We ever i started lovemaking, my pennis got semi hardened. But my pennis loses its hardness during the foreplay time in most of the times. Some times it loses its erection even before the foreplay ends. Though i am mentally very much starving for the same.
4. I am having a family history of blood sugar. Both my parents are diabetic. But there is no family history of heart diseases or hypertension.

Hope you can understand the situation and prescribe me some medicines for evacuation from the situation.

Brief Answer:
Get evaluated.

Detailed Answer:
Hi, In such case you should get an evaluation done.
I would also advise you to get color Doppler of penile vessels.
In such situation I advise following :
1. To take Methylcobalamine supplemtation.
2. To use Sildenafil as on when required basis that is whenever sex is desired.
3. To cut down alcohol in case you take as this reduces erection when sex is tried after consumption of alcohol.
4. To keep blood sugars well controlled.
This is my best opinion for you.
If you have any further query, please ask me.

Brief Answer:
vit b12 and viagra

Detailed Answer:
Hello, Color doppler of penile vessels would help in evaluation whether, the erectile dysfunction is related to the atherosclerosis of penile vessels, and how is the blood flow over there.

Now, Methylcobalamine is supplement and is a form of Vitamin B12 that may help in Erectile Dysfunction. We usually prescribe it in a dose of 500 micrograms a day. Brands like MECOBAL 500 are available in the market.

Sildenafil is commonly known as Viagra and is medicine that is used for the purpose of erectile dysfunction only. This is prescription drug and usually needs doctor's prescription to buy.

If you have any further query, please ask me.
