Brief Answer:
repeat vermox in 2 weeks

Detailed Answer:
Thank you for contacting HCM with your health care questions

Your son has been treated for pin worms for 3 days. He still has worms in his stool. At this time we do not recommend repeating the dosing because of a high risk of inducing seizures. I would recommend repeating the Vermox in 2 weeks.

This is a common problem and a second round of treatment is needed but not until 2 weeks have transpired. We usual wait the two weeks because of the toxicity of Vermox and the vermox is still working to kill the worms for a week after his initial dosing.
