Question: I have a white scab on my scalp that wont go away. This has been there for over 2 months. It has a hard crusty scab. I thought it was a pimple, but I am sure that is not the case. This scab is bigger than a normal pimple. I am a 34 year old male.

Brief Answer:
Psoriasis patch

Detailed Answer:
Hello
Thanks for the query and photograph.
It's looking like a psoriasis patch.
I treat such cases with a mid potency steroid cream like mometasone.
It is safe and effective and usually available over the counter.
You can try this for 15 days.
Apply it twice daily.
Let me know if you have any other doubts.
Thank you.
