Question: Hi Dr XXXXXXX
I work in a Financial Firm in XXXXXXX Lately I have been going through lot of tough times personally. A person close to me recently became very distant. I feel like crying whole day and need isolation. It has affected both my personal and professional life. I have tried a lot to not let things bother me and tried to engage myself in work but that did not help. This is happening since June'15.
Various negative thoughts circle me and suicidal attempts have also crossed my mind. I do not have anyone to talk to about all this as it is highly confidential. I thought I am improving since Dec, but from within I still feel broke and need help.
I wish to take it all out honestly without any pretense. Due to working hours in weekdays, I am not able to visit the clinic. Is it possible for telephonic conversation?

Brief Answer:
In person counseling is better.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for your query.
I appreciate your efforts for medical consultation in so much distress.

Important aspects of your query are:
• 26 year old female
• Suffering from stress and anxiety.

It is very common to develop stress, anxiety and depressive after separation from friends or family members. But usually these symptoms subside within 1 month of separation. If symptoms prolong or affect your personal/professional life in that case you should seek professional help.

In severe cases short term medical management also provide great help along with counseling. Every month I get 2-3 such cases which improve greatly by professional help. You can meet me personally after taking appointment from my coordinator XXXXXXX on my Sohna Road CONFIDENCE CLINIC.

In case of urgency you can msg/watsup me on my number 0000.

I hope this information has been both informative and helpful for you.
Wish you good health.

Hello XXXXXXX

Time management - especially with a view to focus on doing things you find rewarding.
Recreation and social activities - These are essential for maintaining concentration and motivation. It should be programmed daily in small quantities

Physical measures:
Nutrition - don’t skip meals. Eat plenty of fruit and coloured vegetables
Exercise - the amount can be varied. Incorporate some stretching exercises and some aerobics like skipping or same place jogging.
Relaxation - use a muscle relaxation technique/Yoga or any form of meditation that doesn't take more than a few minutes
Sleep hygiene - for adequate, predictable and refreshing sleep. For that: fix sleep and wake up time, No day time sleep, Avoid excessive caffeine (tea/coffee/cold drinks) and switch off TV/Mobile 30min before sleep

Cognitive and emotional measures:
Cognitive restructuring - see the stress as a means not an end.
