Suggest Treatment For Persistent Rashes On The Thigh And Groin Area

Question: About a year ago I noticed a couple spots on my right inner thigh, groin area. In the last few weeks I've developed a concerning amount popping up now on both sides and beginning to creep up my abdomen. Reminds me off what a diaper rash looks like. They aren't itchy or hurt at all. Concerning is how much and how fast they have become. What could they be?

Not sure if it's related but I've also had a shooting pain every so often that feels like a nerve from my inner thigh up through my vagina. It's not regular and goes away within a few minutes. I have the Nexplanon implant which has caused my cycle to be reversed, I've had it for two years now.

Thank you. I have reviewed the images.

You seem to have a fungal infection of groins i.e tinea cruris. I can see ring shaped lesions on inner thighs and groin folds.
I suggest you to use a topical antifungal e.g clotrimazole 1% cream, 2x daily.
In addition to this you may take take a tablet of cetrizine 10mg once daily in evening for symptmatic relief from itching.

It doesn't itch at all though. If I didn't see it,I wouldn't know it was even there. I have no symptoms of ringworm, except that it looks somewhat similar. It doesn't hurt, sting, or anything else. It's just there. I had a couple spots for a year with no problems, and suddenly it began to spread. I've been under tremendous stress and wonder if it's nerve related

Detailed Answer:
Hello.

Clinically it certainly looks like tinea cruris. The site too is very characteristic.
The patches are not very inflammatory (i.e red) and therefore itching is not prominent and moreover itching is a subjective symptom and its intensity may vary from individual to individual.
I suggest you to try a topical antifungal cream i.e clotrimazole cream, 2x daily for a few days.
It is not nerve related. It is entirely cutaneous.
