Question: After gardening and spreading mulch two sundays ago, I had a headache and since feel week, tired, chills, no temperature. I had blood drawn and everything is ok except a 105 sugar but i did not fast before hand. I have felt these symptoms for nine days. Is it a virus? I just want to sleep.

Brief Answer:
Probably a virus!

Detailed Answer:
Hi and thanks so much for this query.

I have reviewed your information fully. This is most likely caused by virus. Rest, increased fluids and fluids intake as well as good diet will help accelerate the recovery. Also, exercise moderately daily as this clearly help accelerate the recovery process.

The blood sugar of 105 without fasting of very normal and there is nothing to be worried about in relation to this.

I wish you well and update me in 48hours on how you are feeling!

Brief Answer:
Yes, a virus cann last for weeks!

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

If you are getting worse than better, then you probably need to some blood workup. For sure, viruses can take several weeks before full recovery. However, beyond 2weeks is often a concern from me that warrants further evaluation.

Let me know how you are doing this day.

Waiting....
