Brief Answer:
Add cough syrup

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Welcome to HCM.
Can understand your concerns.

Fever with pain in neck could be due to throat congestion.

In my opinion, you should give a cough syrup like chericof, cheston CS 5 ml three times a day for 1 day, if fever persists or neck pain persists then antibiotic needs to be given.

Cough syrup will help to sooth the throat.

Avoid cold items like cold drink, ice-cream, chilled water.

I hope this will help you.
Wishing your child good health.
Take care.

Brief Answer:
If fever persists, examination should be done

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Since, symptoms are suggestive of upper respiratory tract infection, you should continue both crocin ds and augmentin syrup three times a day for 3 days.

If fever is not relieved in next 24 hours, then possibility of typhoid and malaria should also be kept.

In that case, investigations like CBC, widal test and malarial antigen test should be done. Also, an examination by pediatrician should be done.

Take care.
