Question: Hi. I took a 12 hour Mucinex 8 hours ago. I have the worst flu of my life. My head, ears and teeth feel like they are going to explode. Would there be a problem if I took a 600mg Ibuprofen now?

Brief Answer:
no problem

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

there is no problem to use both. If you're using ibuprofen for fever or to reduce malaise then I would recommend paracetamol (acetaminophen) which has less side effects when used properly and can also be used with mucinex.

Kind Regards!
