I recommend you go in to an urgent care clinic or your doctor. Don't settle for just being given an antibiotic without testing because with antibiotic resistance, it is is important to test. A "dip urinalysis" can be done while you wait in the office, and if it indicates the presence of bacteria (a positive leukocyte esterase test), then an antibiotic should be given to you and the sample should be sent to the lab for culture and sensitivity testing. Sensitivity testing shows whether the typically used antibiotics are effective (bacteria is sensitive), resistant, or intermediate.
Also increase your water intake and drink cranberry juice or take cranberry powder capsules. To help prevent future UTIs (if that's what this is), if possible, try to urinate immediately after intercourse to wash out any bacteria or irritants that may have gotten into your urethra.
