Question: Hi, again, Dr. XXXXXXX Regarding patella maltracking and instability, how common or likely is it for such a condition to be able resolve itself on its own, with no special treatment, even given the problem of tightened muscles and tendons?

Sorry for late reply. In most of the cases patella maltracking and instability can be resolved by conservative treatment like physiotherapy, stretching exercises, knee support by brace.
