Brief Answer:
Prolonged treatment with antiepileptics is needed.

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for asking on HealthcareMagic.

I would insist you not to panic. Epilepsy in childhood is different from epilepsy in adults and most often it comes in control with regular medication. The prescribed medicines seem proper but clinical correlation is needed to be able to comment further. Mere 6 months might not be enough and prolonged treatment might be required. The cause and underlying pathology in case of your daughter needs to be considered carefully in order to be able to administer proper treatment.

The following two institutes might be the place you would want to take your daughter to, for treatment from quality doctors in the field:

The National Institute of Mental Health and Neurosciences
Hosur Road, Lakkasandra, Bengaluru, XXXXXXX 560029
www.nimhans XXXXXXX nic.in/

Christian Medical College & Hospital, Vellore XXXXXXX Scudder Rd, Vellore, Tamil Nadu 632004
