Question: Hello Doctor,

I had a procedure that caused me to get pancreatitis. I have been on a liquid diet for weeks now with very little relief. Can you recommend anything to progress healing, pain relief and recovery?

You can take solid food with medicines.

Hi,

I have treated many cases of Pancreatitis effectively.

You can take solid food and also Tablet containing digestive enzymes. In Pancreatitis, enzymes will not be produced effectively for digestion. So, enzymes have to be supplemented through tablet.
I generally prescribe Pancrease MT 10 (enzyme preparation ) , one tablet daily to my patients.

I would like to know the latest blood reports of Serum Amylase, Serum Lipase which tells the severity of the disease. If both the values are normal, you can certainly take solid diet.
