Suggest Treatment For Painless Lump In The Wrist
Question: I've had a painless flesh colored bump/lump on the palm side of my wrist for about 2 years now. Its about the size of a pencil eraser.
I've never really paid it any mind but thought it wouldn't hurt to ask about it. It doesn't bother me but i want to make sure its nothing cancerous.
Do you think perhaps its a ganglion cyst? by the way i have no family history of cancer

I have read your history and seen the photos.
My thoughts:
It is not cancerous as it would been very large and showing the signs and symptoms if it would have been a cancer. You may please stop worrying about it to be a cancer.
Secondly this looks to on forearm, above the wrist - hairy area.
If it is not moving with the tendons as seen in the pictures when you clinch the fist, it is not a ganglion.
If it is moving with the skin it is most probably a sebaceous cyst.
If it is moving freely under the skin, it is most probably a lipoma.
High resolution ultrasonography and a clinical examination by a General Surgeon can help in differential diagnosis.
Please check for these signs, consult your Surgeon and get it removed for 2 reasons:
1. You get rid of the lump which is not a normal part of the body.
2. You get a definite diagnosis by inspection on removal and by histo-pathology examination.
It may increase with time and will then need larger incision.
