If I was your treating doctor I would recommend you to apply topical antibiotic like mupirocin cream or fusidic acid cream on the affected area twice daily and take anti inflammatory medicines like ibuprofen or diclofenac.

can I use hot compresses .how long before swelling and pain go away.is it dangerous near my eye
