Needs physical examination to find the cause

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for posting
I have gone through your query and understand your concern. It needs physical examination to ascertain the cause. To help you better I would like to know-
1. Is there any trauma?
2. Do you play any sport or any other physical activity?
Meanwhile, Inspite of heat use ice, compression and avoidance of activities that exacerbate pain.
I afraid if the pain persist you may have to visit the ER.MRI am best investigation for sprain/tear of ligament.
Take care and I shall be glad to answer any further query.

I have a mild tear of the iliofemoral ligament that occurred in 2014 but is still not healed. Climbing up stairs and walking up inclines is painful. Should I be resting it still after all these years or should I be strengthening it?

Greetings, I have attached some images and I am seeking an opinion before I go back to the doctor. I would greatly appreciate a radiologist to look at them and let me know what they see. Many Thanks, XXXX

I have a tear of the medial band of the iliofemoral ligament with partial tear of the lateral band in my right hip. Is there a fix for these tears?

Hello. I went to a doctor yesterday and was diagnosed with an iliofemoral ligament sprain. I'm not experiencing pain - it's more of an annoying discomfort. I was was only painful when the doctor was pressing down on the area. Since I try to go to the gym on routine basis, when should I continue with my regimen?

As background, I had an inguimal hernia repair done several years. I was being cautious about a possible relapse which is the reason why I went to see a doctor.

Thank you. Hoping for prompt and sound advice.
