Brief Answer:
Explained

Detailed Answer:
Hello and Welcome

I appreciate your concern

Based on the description and the image you uploaded, a biopsy preferably an excisional biopsy would be required to determine the nature of the growth/ nodule.

This is especially important if the lesion has been changing color, increasing size getting more raised off the surface.

Wishing you best of health

Thanks
