MRI Cervical spine/Nerve conduction studies/Antineuralgics

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thanks for being on healthcaremagic.com.
I am Dr.Ajay Panwar,a neurologist, here to answer your query.

Radiating pain from hand to shoulder appears typically due to nerve radicle involvement. It might be a cervical radiculopathy, which you are suffering from.

MRI of cervical spine along with Nerve conduction studies will help in diagnosis.

Further, as if now, Antiinflammatory medicines along with antineuralgics(pregabalin, duloxetine, amitriptyline) will be of help in improving the symptoms.Vitamin B12 supplementation will also help.

RA is known to cause cervical spine changes.

Hope that helps. If you have any further questions,I shall be glad to have you in follow-up.

Regards
Dr.Ajay Panwar,
