Read your query as you have pain in your wisdom tooth since yesterday dont worry this pain can be due to may be due to deposition of food debris in subgingival region of gums leads to periodontal pocket formation or pericoronitis or might be your tooth is carious .

Based on the detail provided i will suggest you to do warm saline rinses two - three times a day , and you can take medicine like Ibugesic plus or Ketrol dt for pain .

My tooth is coming out. It happened a few years ago also. But, I did not remember in how much time the pain disappeared.

Read your query and thanks for providing image , as far as I had observed it looks like pericoronitis as your wisdom tooth is partialy erupted covered by pericoronal flap, this pericoronal flap has deposition of food debris , bacteria causing pain and swelling .
I will suggest you to do warm saline rinses two - three times a day, you can take medicine like Novamox Lb and analgesic like Ibugesic plus by consulting with your local doctor .
If pain persist for more then 5 days then you should consult oral surgeon for Curretage of tooth and Investigations IOPA xray to determine for alignment of wisdom tooth .
