Posted on Mon, 8 Aug 2016
Question: I have dull achy pain in right leg, pain is above knee and below hip. It is worse at night, making sleep uncomfortable. Could it be a blood clot?

This is the third night pain has bothered me, pain is a level 4. Pain subsides or disappears during the day with activity.

Brief Answer:
Blood cloth unlikely, more likely joint or back problem

Detailed Answer:
Dear Patient,

your symptoms are less likely typical for blood cloth. More likely seems a hip joint or lower back problem. Your doctor can find out what is more likely through examination. Further diagnostic options like x rays will be decided depending on the findings in the examinations,

best regards
