Suggest Treatment For Pain In The Knee Post Injury
Question: I fell and I had all my body weight on my knee that was over flexed. I can walk but it hurts in the back of that knee. Please tell me what may have happened and how to go about it

There is probably no fracture and this rarely happens in this type of injury.
There may be just joint distorsion and ligament distension and in this case, pain should subside within 5 days. If there is partial ligament tear, then it may take more time to heal and you should rest, apply elastic compress and walk with crutches. If there is total teat or meniscus damage, then you need professional evaluation.
To determine the exact injury type you need to get MRI scan done since X-rays and ultrasound are not sensitive enough for ligaments and menisceal injuries.
