Brief Answer:
NEEDS TO BE INVESTIGATED

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Thank you for posting the query.

You are indeed correct. To me ,this does seem to be arthritis.
But it needs to be investigated and confirmed first before jumping to the conclusion.

Other conditions like weak bones, low calcium levels, fibromyalgia, ankylosing spondylitis etc also can mimic these symptoms.

If you have a positive family history of arthritis then chances of you having it are more.

I would suggest you to get a few investigations done-

Complete blood count
Blood calcium levels
RA factor
HLA B27
Serum uric acid
C reactive proteins
Xrays of both elbows.

After getting these tests done,we can get a gross idea about the diagnosis.

Till then analgesic, anti inflammatory tablets like tramadol or ibuprofen will help. Calcium tablets can be started as a adjunctive therapy.

Do get back to me after the reports are ready.

I hope the answer was useful

Thank you.

Kind regards.
