Brief Answer:
nothing to worry about

Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXX

Welcome to HEALTHCARE MAGIC..

How was your day?

Hope this message finds you in good health.

I have gone through your query in detail and understand your concern.

it seems that the skin in that region is inflammed causing the soreness and pain. it may be just a soft tissue inflammation or may be related to the coccyx bone underneath.

I would suggest you to apply ice packs, take anti inflammatory tablets for 3 days. If the symptoms go away then you have to do nothing.

If the symptoms still persist, you should see a doctor and may be get an xray done and if required , start on antibiotics.

but at present, dont hurry, take medicines, ice packs and wait for 3 days

avoid sitting on the affected part for prolonged periods, use soft pillows under the coccyx, do not sit on hard surface.

do not apply heat to the concerned area.

You should eventually get back to normal in coming few days.Nothing to worry about.

I hope your question has been answered.

Feel free to consult me anytime for follow-up queries.

Take care,God bless.
Wish you a healthy life : )
