Question: Hello... I have been experiencing some mild pain in my penis. No pain when urinating...no pain when ejaculating. no swelling or anything that looks different than normal. Sometimes the pain flairs up when i sit for a long time. Again, it's mild...sort of a stinging pain or mild burning pain in the shaft near the tip.

Brief Answer: Clinical examination and investigation will help. Detailed Answer: Hi, Thanks for writing your query. After reading your post, I would advise that you should get yourself clinically examined and investigated. Following investigations may be helpful :- 1. Complete Blood Count ( CBC ). 2. Urine examination (Routine / Microscopic and Culture / Sensitivity ). Reports of the above mentioned Investigations and clinical examination will help in planning further medical management. You should drink lots of water daily. Also avoid spicy foods. I hope this is helpful to you. Thanks.

what are the possible diagnosis? I was thinking it might be a UTI, but I have no pain whatsoever when urinating or ejaculating. Also no unusual discharge at all.

Brief Answer: It may be a localised infection. Detailed Answer: Hi, Thanks for providing more information. Burning sensation near the tip of penis may be associated with urethritis. Investigations as mentioned before will help to confirm the diagnosis. Other possible diagnosis can be some localised infection of the soft tissue of the tip of the penile shaft. Sometimes XXXXXXX symptoms of UTI develop late. So it cannot be ruled out. You may need an antibiotic and an anti inflammatory. I think you should first get investigated especially the urine examination. Maintain local hygiene. Drink lots of water daily. This will help in limiting infection, if present. Also take care that your undergarments are not very tight. I hope this answers your query. If you have any further doubts, please mention. Thanks.
