Brief Answer:
Likely mild sprain/ may need rest and analgesic.

Detailed Answer:

Hi
Thanks for your query

I'm Dr Sudhir Kumar

I have gone through your query and attached photographs and understand your concern.I think it is likely that you got mild sprain whenever you have pain. Its treatment is rest and analgesic such as ibuprofen for pain relief. Vitamin B and C help in healing. Popping/ cracking sounds without pain may be normal and needs no treatment.

You can discuss with your doctor about it.

Hope your query get answered. If you have any clarification then I will be happy to help you.

Wishing you a good health.
Take care.

Brief Answer:
Avoid overstretching during excercises.

Detailed Answer:
Hi
Welcome back
Pain is probably due to overstretching the wrist. So it can be prevented by avoiding overstretching of wrist.Any type of wrist support such as wrist band can be of some help.
You can discuss with your doctor about it.
Everything else already discussed.
