Question: Hi doc. Iam feeeling pain in my eyes. I am sitting in front of the comupter for morethan 12 hour severy day. Can you please assist?

The symptoms of pain in the eye following prolonged continuous use of computers or laptops is because of dryness of eyes and is called as computer vision syndrome.

This can be treated easily by the use of artificial tears eye drops.
Taking precautions as mentioned below will help in providing symptomatic relief.
Frequent breaks to avoid prolonged exposure like a break for about 5 minutes after working for continuous two hours.
Use of antiglare coated glasses.
Avoiding concurrent use of fan or air conditioner.
Washing eyes with normal water once or twice a day.
