Suggest Treatment For Pain In Back Lower Right Side Of Head
Question: Extreme headache that even migrate meds won't touch. i get a sharp stabbing pain in the back lower right side of my head. it's so sharp I have to grab my head and close right eye. last about a minute. goes away. some times it comes back and some times it doesn't happen for a couple days. been having the headaches for about 3 years. the sharp pain started about a year ago. any ideas what could be wrong there?

As its been for last 3 years and did not settle so needs detailed workup. From your statement i concluded that your headache is episodic. Is it correct? 2. Pain occurs in whole head or in half head?
3. Does pain aggravate with movement?

b. Nausea, vomiting or anorexia?
5. Do you then prefer to lie in a dark room so that you headache improves?
