Question: Hello, I am a 27 yr old female I have attempted intercourse throughout the years but it is very painful I my hymen is still intact . Could it be painful due to the hymen ? Also I can't insert tampons

It could also be an unnaturally tough hymen, that is more likely since you are unable to insert tampons as well.

Thank you for replying no I'm not scared of sex psychologically but not being able to have sex has affected my relationships ...is there any way to surgically remove my hymen?
