Brief Answer:
Repetitive strain (stress) injury or cervical spine problem.

Detailed Answer:
Hi

Thank you for asking HCM

I have gone through your query. Your problem can be most likely due to repetitive strain (stress) injury. This can be due to continuous working in one position or leaning forward or lying down in bed for long time in wrong postures.
Hot fomentations or ice pack application will be helpful. You can also do gentle massage. Applying gels containing diclofenac or ketoprofen , methylsalicylate and capsaicin for local applicaton will be helpful. Change your chair if it is giving wrong posture. Use orthopaedic pillow while sleeping and while sitting. You can also take NSAID and paracetamol combination drugs like Ibuprofen and paracetamol.
If there is no improvement then consult an orthopaedician to rule out problems with cervical spine like bulging discs or cervical spondylosis. In that cases muscle relaxants , soft cervical collar and physiotherapy helps.

Let me know if anything not clear.
I am happy to help you.
Thanks.

Brief Answer:
Examination with ENT specialist needed.

Detailed Answer:
Welcome again.

Thank you for your follow up query.

Proper examination should be done by ENT specialist to rule out the cause of ear pain. Build up of fluid in ear can be the reason. Nasal decongestants (otrivin nasal spray) will be helpful to open the auditory tube and relieve this. But perforation or inflammation of ear should be ruled out by examining ear by ENT specialist. In such case you may need antibiotic ear drops.

Thanks.
